1. Information We Collect

When you use OverseasFax, we collect: (a) your email address, which you provide to receive your delivery confirmation; (b) your document, which is processed in memory to transmit the fax; (c) the fax number you enter; (d) payment information, which is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your email address solely to send you a delivery confirmation for your fax. We use your document solely to transmit it as a fax to your specified recipient. We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.

3. Document Storage

Your uploaded document is processed in memory only. It is not permanently stored on our servers. After the fax is transmitted, the document data is deleted. We never read, analyze, or share your document contents.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never receive, see, or store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. For technical reasons related to delivering your fax after payment, a temporary encoded representation of your document may be stored as metadata within the Stripe payment session — this is deleted after the fax is sent.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymous data such as pages visited and general location. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies for marketing.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to transmit your fax (via Notifyre, our fax delivery provider) and process your payment (via Stripe).

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

8. Your Rights

Because we do not store your personal information after your fax is sent, there is generally no data to delete. If you have questions about your data, please contact us at support@overseasfax.com.

9. Children's Privacy

OverseasFax is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
